Feasibility audits
Not every problem benefits from machine learning. We run a structured two-week audit to find out whether yours does, and if so, which approach will give you the best return relative to cost.
During the audit our engineers connect to your data warehouse or receive sample exports. They profile column distributions, check for label quality, measure class imbalance and estimate the minimum viable dataset size. The deliverable is a written report that covers:
- Data readiness score across five dimensions (volume, variety, veracity, velocity, value)
- Recommended model architectures ranked by expected accuracy and training cost
- Infrastructure requirements: GPU hours, storage, API throughput
- Risk register listing potential failure modes and mitigations
Custom model training
Off-the-shelf models rarely fit niche business data. We train models from scratch or fine-tune foundation models on your proprietary datasets. The result is a model that understands your terminology, your edge cases and your quality thresholds.
Typical projects include demand forecasting for supply-chain teams, defect detection on manufacturing lines, and sentiment analysis for customer support tickets. Each engagement includes:
- Baseline model within the first two weeks so you can see early results
- Fortnightly demo sessions where we walk through precision, recall and F1 scores
- Hyperparameter tuning using Optuna or Ray Tune to squeeze out the last few percentage points of accuracy
- Model card documentation following the Mitchell et al. framework
Natural language processing
Text is the most common data type in business, and most of it goes unanalysed. We build NLP pipelines that extract entities, classify intent, summarise documents and generate responses.
One client, a legal services firm in Edinburgh, needed to extract key dates, party names and obligation clauses from 40,000 archived contracts. Our named-entity recognition pipeline processed the entire backlog in under 72 hours with 91% extraction accuracy.
We also build conversational agents that plug into your existing helpdesk software. These agents handle tier-one queries, escalate complex cases to human agents, and log every interaction for compliance review.
Computer vision
If your process involves looking at something, a camera and a trained model can probably do it faster. We build image classification, object detection and segmentation systems for manufacturing quality control, retail shelf auditing and medical image analysis.
Our typical pipeline starts with data collection guidance: how many images you need, what angles to capture, and how to label them efficiently using tools like Label Studio. We then train detection models based on YOLO or Detectron2 and optimise them for the hardware you have available, whether that is a cloud GPU or an edge device like an NVIDIA Jetson.

MLOps and ongoing support
A model in production needs the same care as any other piece of software. We provide monitoring, retraining and incident response so your AI systems stay accurate over time.

We set up Grafana or Datadog dashboards that track prediction latency, throughput and accuracy drift. Alerts fire when metrics cross thresholds you define, so your team knows about problems before users do.
Automated retraining
Data changes. Customer behaviour shifts. New product lines appear. We build pipelines that detect distribution drift and trigger retraining jobs automatically, using fresh data from your warehouse.
Incident response
When something breaks at 2 a.m., our on-call engineer investigates within 30 minutes. We provide post-incident reports within 48 hours that explain what happened, why, and what we changed to prevent it recurring.
