Why fixed pricing
Hourly billing creates a perverse incentive: the longer a project takes, the more the consultancy earns. We removed that incentive years ago.
Each plan has a defined scope, a defined deliverable and a defined price. If we underestimate the work, that is our problem, not yours. The price you see in the scope document is the price you pay.
We do adjust the Enterprise price based on complexity, but only after a detailed scoping exercise. You will see an itemised breakdown before you sign anything: hours per task, infrastructure costs, and any third-party API fees. The final number is always a fixed total, not a range.
Optional add-ons
These can be added to any plan. Prices are fixed per add-on.
Team training workshop
A full-day, hands-on workshop for up to ten people covering how your AI system works, how to interpret its outputs and when to override it. Delivered on-site or via video. £1,800 per session.
Extended support contract
Ongoing monitoring, retraining and incident response beyond the support period included in your plan. Billed quarterly at £2,400 per quarter, cancellable with 30 days' notice.
Compliance documentation
We prepare an AI impact assessment, data protection impact assessment (DPIA) and model risk documentation aligned with the EU AI Act risk categories. £2,600 per system.
Pricing questions
Are GPU and cloud costs included?
Training compute is included in all plans. If you want the model hosted on our infrastructure after deployment, hosting costs are billed at cost plus a 10% management fee, typically between £80 and £300 per month depending on traffic.
What if the project scope changes mid-way?
Small adjustments happen naturally and we absorb them. If the scope changes significantly, we write a change-order document with a revised fixed price. You approve it before any extra work begins.
Do you offer payment plans?
For Professional and Enterprise plans, we split payment into three milestones: 40% at project kick-off, 30% at the midpoint demo, and 30% on final delivery. Starter is paid in full before work begins.
Can I upgrade from Starter to Professional later?
Yes. The Starter fee is credited toward the Professional price if you upgrade within 60 days of the Starter report delivery. You would pay the difference of £9,700 rather than the full Professional fee.
